oh my god the flickr plugin in the wysiwyg is completely blowing my mind! you can click on flickr and select a photo OR A VIDEO right there and just plop it in! antleredlife used to break when i tried to embed anything. it seems to defaul to posting a pretty tiny version of the video, whereas if you send it from flickr through the blog this button it seems to select a larger format. anyway. now i’ve totally upgraded to the latest version of wordpress and updated my theme k2 to the latest install. k2 s super flexible with a huge range of widget options and with theme options that include a custom header uploader and cropper as well as choices for how many columns you want. for the new wordpress install, the new wysiwyg is seriously impressive with a gazilllion seemingly stable options.
i still think the nerd burden is a bit high for upgrading installs of wordpress and for site file backups too. maybe i’m just lazy. it takes forever to back up antleredlife’s files and i don’t even host photos. i hope all that gets easier or i find the new super tool. man i love technology.
