In 2008 and 2009 I oversaw all aspects of press from media campaign planning and execution, to event planning. I liaised with members of the print, television and online media, securing three pieces in the New York Times in 2008
I managed relationships with authorities such as police and Coast Guard and secure event permits. In the summer of 2008 I scouted and secured locations & community hosts for three week art performance tour on the Hudson River “Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea” www.switchbacksea.org
In 2009 I collaborated with The Coup to create a website for SWOON’s latest installation: a sculptural raft float from Slovenia to Venice, Italy across the Adriatic Sea. I managed external relations and logistics for that project. See www.swimmingcities.org to learn more.
